Symphony No. 21 in A major, K. 134, composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in August 1772. The symphony has the scoring of two flutes, two horns, and strings. There are four movements. The main theme of the spacious slow movement may have been inspired by an aria from Gluck’s opera Orfeo, which Mozart had seen in Vienna as a child.
