K. 563 Divertimento in E-Flat Major,

At the peak of his powers, but beset by cash-flow problems brought on by living beyond his means, Mozart composed his famous String Trio, K. 563 for his friend, fellow-mason and creditor Johann Michael Puchberg. While labelled ‘Divertimento’, this masterful six-movement work is one of Mozart’s most substantial pieces for string trio and one of his greatest works. K 138 Divertimento in F Major

The Divertimento in F Major, K 138, was composed in 1772. It is sometimes referred to as the Salzburg Symphony No 3. Mozart was 16 years old when he finished this composition.

K 287 Divertimento in B flat major

Mozart's Divertimento in B flat major, K 287, was composed in 1777 and first performed on June 16th of that year. A work for two horns and strings- It was composed for Countess Antonia Lodron, first lady of the court during the years Mozart was active in the court in Salzburg. The families of Lodron and Mozart were neighbors there and shared many social activities. The divertimento, usually a lighthearted work for social functions and performed by a small ensemble.
